Guernsey Dale School Fundraiser started

The Waushara County Historical Society, along with the former owner and many volunteers, has moved and started to renovate the Guernsey Dale School. This one-room school sat on Highway 152 about three miles northeast of Wautoma. The society moved it on to their land in the City of  Wautoma at the corner of Sandcrest Avenue and Valley View Drive with the hope of restoring and saving it as a typical one-room Waushara County School. So far it has a new foundation and new metal roof, but paint, trim and a spruced up interior are still needed before it can be opened to the public. Those interested in donating to this renovation can contact the Waushara County Historical Society, PO Box 616, Wautoma, WI 54982-0616. Donations are 100% tax deductible so be sure to enter your mailing address in your letter with your check or log in to https://www.paypal.com and enter wausharamuseum@yahoo.com as the payee. There will be a message box on PayPal where you can indicate how you want your donation designated.
